Acne forms when hair follicles become blocked by oil and dead skin cells. This oil is called “sebum” and its made naturally by our bodies.
Acne isn’t contagious and it’s not caused by a poor diet. Rather, hormonal changes are usually the main thing responsible for this problem.

AviClear™ uses laser energy to selectively target and suppress sebaceous glands (the glands that secrete oil and cause acne).
