In 2020, our founders dreamed up a different kind of medical practice: one supported entirely by science that offers treatments and services designed with aesthetics, wellness, and longevity simultaneously in mind. What started as a dream evolved into a boutique regenerative aesthetics, anti-aging & wellness medical practice named OHMI.
With over several decades of combined medical and aesthetic experience, the medical professionals at OHMI strive every day to be better. We strive to become better professionals and better practitioners offering ever better treatments and products in order to achieve better results for our patients. While each member of the OHMI team has extensive experience, expertise, and certifications in various treatment modalities including injectables, medical lasers, ultrasonic therapy, pharmaceutical treatments, and regenerative therapies, the promise to be better than who we are today is a rewarding, never-ending journey that we hope to share with you.
OUR PHYSICIANS
Maxwell Jen, M.D. M.B.A.
Dr. Jen is a practicing regenerative aesthetics & wellness physician and the medical director of OHMI Medical Group. A triple board-certified physician, Dr. Jen has maintained active medical practice since 2012 and continues to pursue his passion for regenerative aesthetic & wellness medicine and the role that the latest medical technologies play in achieving the best patient results and outcomes. Dr. Jen is particularly passionate that his results are achieved via the improvement of the patient’s underlying health in order to achieve the most natural aesthetic and the most sustainable long-term outcome.
Michael K. Wensley, M.D.
Dr. Wensley has been practicing medicine for 27 years, with a focus on medical aesthetics for 10 years. While well-versed in all areas of aesthetic medicine, including Botox, Fillers, Lasers, radiofrequency devices, and therapeutic ultrasound, he maintains special interest in innovations pertaining to non-surgical correction of contour and proportions of the lower face. He is the developer of several unique protocols to improve lower face contour/proportion and continues to introduce and develop non-surgical combination strategies to achieve results previously thought to be exclusively in the domain of surgery.
Dr. Wensley holds a degree in Biology from University of California, San Diego, received his Doctor of Medicine from Northwestern Medical School in Chicago, and performed his post graduate training at Scripps Clinic/Green Hospital in La Jolla, California. He entered clinical practice in 1994, at the age of 30, and been actively engaged in clinical practice through the present. By age 33 had earned the respect of colleagues sufficient to be appointed Chairmen of the Department of Medicine at Hollywood Community Hospital which he served for several years. His experience as Medicine Department Chair developing processes for better execution of clinical practice led him to found a medical practice management company assisting private practice physicians improve quality in their own practices, and founded a clinical laboratory and specialty pharmacy to aid physicians in that mission. Additional to his clinical, and quality improvement experience, Dr. Wensley has maintained passion for basic and medical science. He is qualified and served as a CLIA and California State certified Medical Director for High Complexity clinical and served in that capacity for 22 years. He has also served as a Principal Site Investigator for numerous clinical pharmaceutical trials, for the pharmaceutical industry.
Dr. Wensley’s current mission is to bring together the sum of experience from basic science, research, and procedural development and continuous quality improvement to the field of aesthetic medicine.
